Reviews and Ratings
My stay at the hotel was a mix of great and not-so-great experiences. The rooms were decorated in a style reminiscent of a 1950's Las Vegas hotel, clean, beautifully furnished, and filled with exceptional artwork, offering a cozy ambiance. The service was delivered by genuinely good-natured individuals, although at times seemed a bit stressed with their bustling activities. The location within the ultra-secure gated area of Playacar was comforting and captivating with its Mayan Temple replica and proximity to wildlife. The dining experience was delightful, especially thanks to Chef Santiago and servers Manahem and Viviana, although limited in local products. The facilities were nice, reflecting a comfortable stay with a few minor hiccups. Overall, a delightful stay but with some areas that could be improved upon.
My stay at the hotel was quite pleasant. The room had a full kitchen, dining room, living room, double balcony, and one bedroom with two double beds which was nice and good for us, although the mattress was very hard. The service was top-notch, with the staff being very accommodating and friendly.
Staying at this hotel was a bit of a mixed bag. The rooms, despite being spacious with beautiful vaulted brick ceilings throughout, felt outdated and empty due to minimal furniture. The service was a bit hit or miss - friendly and easy-going staff but some confusion regarding spa costs. The location, though slightly unusual and a 10-minute drive from Playa del Carmen, offered a peaceful setting near a lake and golf course. The dining options were superb, especially with a great view from the breakfast room, though limited lunch choices. Overall, a decent stay with some room for improvement.
The hotel was bigger than I expected with so much charm, complete with a living room, dining room, full kitchen, washer and dryer, and 2 bedrooms/2 bathrooms. It was VERY comfortable and the perfect place to retire to for an afternoon nap: quiet, breezy, with soft big beds. The location, while generally nice and secure, may be offset by not being a beachside hotel and having a slightly outdated 1980s feel.
I found the hotel to be a mixed bag. The room was small and the mattress was hard, making it uncomfortable to sleep. However, the staff were very attentive and fantastic. The location was perfect, right in the heart of things but not too noisy. The dining experience was good but a bit confusing at times. The facilities were decent overall.
Staying in the Ambassador Suite was a real treat with a little fridge, perfect for keeping drinks cold. The room had direct access to the pool, offering a picturesque view of the pool area, scattered tables, and the serene lake with wildlife.
The hotel offers beautifully furnished rooms with exceptional artwork, featuring a leaking roof in the bathroom but providing extensive amenities such as a living room, dining room, full kitchen, washer and dryer, and 2 BR/2baths. The service is a mix of very courteous gestures like preparing packed to-go breakfast for the family and unprofessional behavior like trying to pull a fast one. The location is attractive due to wildlife presence, but it sits on a challenging golf course with relatively high green fees. The dining experience has a lot of options, although some are of poor quality. The facilities are top-notch.
The hotel offered a great view across the golf course, with turtles in the lake by the pool and restaurant. Getting into Playa del Carmen was easy, and it was adjacent to leisure facilities and a spa. However, the room cleanliness fell short of expectations with dirty walls and appliances.
The hotel offers remarkably spacious rooms with high ceilings, great value for the price. Although the AC control switch can be challenging if it gets too cold and noisy being close to the kitchen, it still provides a comfortable stay.
My stay at the hotel was a mix of positives and negatives. The rooms were spacious and clean with a nice king bed, but they were a little on the dark side and lacking a view. On the plus side, there were two bathrooms, although one had a window that couldn't be locked.
Staying at this hotel was a mixed experience. The rooms were remarkably spacious with high ceilings, offering a comfortable stay, although they lacked a view even though we requested one. The service was excellent, with the staff being very friendly and willing to help with recommendations and arrangements. The location, while not very close to the beach or downtown Playa, was situated in a beautiful amenity park next to a golf course. The dining experience was good with a decent variety of freshly prepared dishes. The facilities were satisfying, providing a pleasant overall stay.
I absolutely loved my stay at the hotel. The rooms were incredibly spacious and well-furnished with two double beds that were both comfy and impeccably clean. The service was top-notch, and I would recommend this place in a heartbeat. The location was perfect, right in the heart of everything but still peaceful. The dining experience was delightful with a great variety of delicious choices.
I had a pleasant stay at the hotel. The rooms were great, cleaned daily, and overlooked the lovely golf course. While the rooms were nice with spacious bathrooms and attractive decor, I didn't initially receive the room I had booked.
The hotel's rooms were extremely damp but huge and great value. They need maintenance, but the little fridge was handy for keeping drinks cold. The service was very friendly and helpful, though some staff seemed confused about pricing and services. The location is situated in an amenity park and offers quiet surroundings with a nice infinity pool. The dining experience was good overall, especially the quality of the food. The facilities are decent, but some areas could use improvement.
My stay at the hotel was a mix of positives and negatives. The rooms were spacious and overlooked the golf course, but they were not as expected based on the pictures. The kitchen was a highlight with its full-size refrigerator and stove. However, the A/C control switch made it challenging to regulate the temperature, causing some discomfort.
